Who we are

Juicy Programming (KvK 69863369) is responsible for the personal data processed through juicyprogramming.com. Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), that makes us the controller.

You can reach us by email at info@juicyprogramming.com.

What this statement covers

This statement covers this website only. JuicySMS and TempMailer.net have their own privacy policies:

What we collect

When you visit this website, our hosting provider (Railway) and network provider (Cloudflare) record technical data about each request:

  • your IP address
  • the date and time
  • the page requested
  • your browser and device (user agent)
  • the referring page

We don’t use cookies for analytics or advertising, tracking pixels or embedded third-party content. Fonts and scripts are served from our own domain.

When you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and the content of your message.

You don’t have to give us any personal data, and no law or contract requires you to. Your browser sends the request data automatically, and without it we can’t show you this website. Emailing us is up to you, but we can’t reply without your email address.

  • Request data: to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix problems, on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Emails: to answer you, on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). When you ask about doing business with us, the basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Business records: to keep business correspondence as Dutch tax law requires, on the basis of a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

How long we keep it

  • Request logs: we can see them for up to 30 days. Railway and Cloudflare may keep them longer, as their data processing agreements allow.
  • Emails: as long as needed to handle your question. Business correspondence that Dutch tax law requires us to keep is held for 7 years after it stops being current (art. 52 AWR), and then deleted.

Who processes data for us

These parties act as processors under data processing agreements:

  • Railway Corporation: hosting.
  • Cloudflare, Inc.: network delivery and security.
  • Google Cloud EMEA Limited (Ireland): Google Workspace, for email.

Transfers outside the EU

Railway and Cloudflare are based in the United States, and Google may process data there through Google LLC. All three are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and their agreements add the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses as a fallback. You can ask us for a copy of these safeguards.

Cookies

This website doesn’t set cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie (such as __cf_bm) to protect the site against automated abuse. No consent is needed for that.

Your browser may also keep two small notes from this website in its session storage: one when you pause the animation on the home page, so that it stays paused while the tab is open, and one when the page has to reload because it couldn’t load the website’s files (usually because we published a new version while you had it open), so that it doesn’t reload over and over. They contain no personal data, never leave your browser and are deleted when you close the tab.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your personal data, and for correction, deletion, restriction and data portability. You can also object at any time to processing that is based on legitimate interest.

To use any of these rights, email info@juicyprogramming.com. We reply within one month.

You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

No automated decisions

We don’t make automated decisions or create profiles about you.

Changes

We update this page when our processing changes, and change the date above.
